Calling all wanderers and storytellers! BOHEMIO’s Raconteur Lodge is a concrete and adobe paradise, blending Oaxaca's warmth with Marfa’s rugged soul. After a day of exploring on foot, horseback, or bike, or simply unwinding by the Saint George pool, your suite or villa awaits.

Each of the four units offers the privacy of your own home, with full kitchens, private baths, king bedrooms, and outdoor patios to soak in the quiet desert air. Larger villas add a cozy living room for moments of relaxation and connection. While your space feels secluded, the shared amenities are just a few steps away, making it easy to feel both alone and part of something bigger.

    At the western end of the Raconteur Lodge, you'll discover a villa boasting a luxurious bedroom, tall ceilings, grand glass doors, cozy seating, and a kitchen filled with simple delights. This villa in Marfa stands out, blending the essence of adobe architecture with modern elegance and a touch of contemporary design. The private patio is the largest of the lodge, and opens directly to the backyard.

    Northern Exposure Suite (B)

    On the north side of Raconteur’s sanctuary of bespoke craftsmanship lies a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation. This beautiful space features two private patios, a regal king bed with snug lounge seating, a complete culinary haven, and a sun-kissed bath. The Northern Exposure suite is a perfect abode, where modernity dances with the echoes of antiquity.

    Southern Light Villa (C)

    Our largest and most luxurious villa (aka Pickleball Penthouse) boasts a southern view overlooking the brand new pickleball courts and the backyard. Providing plenty of the storied natural light, it features high ceilings, a king bedroom with a large closet, a living room, a cozy reading nook, and a fully-equipped kitchen. This spacious unit offers plenty of room to gather or find solace. The generous bathroom is an added luxury.

    This large, open-concept villa basks in the first light of dawn and boasts expansive and isolated chambers. Embracing an inviting open, yet minimalist, design it features vast interiors, soaring ceilings, a regal king-size bed, luxurious leather sectional, and a fully-equipped kitchen. This sanctuary emerges as a pinnacle of seclusion while still conveniently located in the center of Marfa!

    The Raconteur Lodge is a unique property consisting of FOUR individual units that all share one roof. It's the perfect place to go with friend groups, other couples, or extended family where proximity is ideal, but personal space is still king! This concrete and adobe paradise conjures “Oaxaca meets Marfa” vibes. The backyard and Paddle Club is the ideal gathering space. Each unit has it's own entrance, king room, bathroom, and kitchen, but is still unique!

  • La Playa is an old adobe ruin that is open to the big Texas sky. It features a colorful and picturesque “Bar de Jugos” painted facade. It’s home to firepits and Adirondack chairs and serves as an ideal hangout space safely tucked away from sleeping friends and family! It's also home to our own "Movie Trailer" which is great for the kids while the adults toast to good times! This is available to BOTH the “Rebel” Lodge and “Raconteur” Lodge guests.

  • The Backyard "Paddle Club" is a beautiful new set of regulation pickleball courts that can also be repurposed for outdoor events. It features a large 20' x 40' pavilion for shade and plenty of room to relax. This area is located directly behind the “Raconteur” Lodge, but is available to all Bohemio guests.

  • This new addition is perfect for a quick dry sauna, or steam after a long day of exploration, court time, or gallery hopping! It's like you have departed west Texas for a sojourn in Denmark for a little of that famous 'hygge'. The Speedo is optional!
